Pleasantly surprised
When I purchased. This chair, I wasn’t expecting much. The reviews frequently said that it lost pieces from loose screws. YES you can believe it. My tipper wheel fell off within a week of purchasing it, even though we did heed the printed warning and tightened all the screws. However, the chair has otherwise made up for the minor loss of a tipper wheel since I am not planning on doing wheelies or climbing stairs with it. One recommendation I do have, however. My husband cut some ⅜ inch plywood to match the seat cushion and put it in the cushion cover. It keeps the cushion (which is truly very thin). flat. So instead of sitting on the wheelchair frame, you have a soft surface. To make the story short, I love this chair, It’s shortcomings are far outweghed by the freedom and mobility I enjoy. Mr shoulders were not up to pushing a manual wheelchair so I had to do something. Since I had to pay for it mrself, I needed something inexpensive that would release me from the shoulder pains I experienced with a manual wheelchair. If you are thinking about buying a lightweight folding electric wheelchair, I say go for it!

Replacement Parts
The armrest has virtually disintegrated. I contacted the company and was told that I would have to buy the entire arm assembly ($80) to replace the armrest.Absolutely ridiculous! On the plus side, I have done several long distance trips, no problem on the airlines.

Multiple issues
I bought the wheelchair for my daughter when they come to visit. She has MS and multiple back issues and we have annual Disney tickets, so when they come to Florida we needed a wheelchair when attending the Disney parks. We recently used the chair for several days and here are a few issues we discovered:1.Shuts off randomly- battery has to be taken out and put back in2.Hard to control on lowest speed3.Hard to turn to the right4.Little wheel fell off from back5.Not enough cushion on seat. The first time she used it ran out of battery life and we were only there at the most 6 hours. So she only keeps on slowest speed as to not run out. We thought we would purchase an extra battery pack; however, it costs almost as much as the entire chair.

Love it!
The first one I received had to be returned because it wouldn’t charge. I got in touch with Amazon and they contacted the seller who then contacted Rubicon (the manufacturer). Rubicon immediately contacted me! Great customer service all the way around! Rubicon had us return it and I received another one in just a few days. I have had it since November and we are getting along great! I have a small apartment and this little bugger gets around wonderfully! I was on a walker for years. My kneecaps were removed many years ago. I got along fine for a long time. But the older I got the harder it was to get along. I’m 73 now and got tired of falling down so much. I was very hesitant about a wheelchair but after finding this small one I am soooo happy! I have my independence back! Yay, me!!!

Great chair for the price & excellent customer support!
I did a lot of research before ordering and compared this chair to others costing $2700+ and the features were almost exactly the same. The chair is just what I needed to get around on a vacation where we would be doing a lot of walking. Due to my impaired mobility, I wouldn’t have been able to get around and enjoy the trip without it. For extra comfort and stability, I recommend that you personally tighten all the nuts/screws on the chair and add support under the cushion (we used plywood.) The chair is small & light enough for travel and is airline compliant. Make sure to pre-approve the chair with each airline because they all have different check-in requirements. Customer service was excellent! There was a mix-up with my order and when I contacted the seller, they immediately arranged for the wrong item to be picked up and sent the correct chair via FedEx. The airline lost a part on my chair and when I contacted the seller to ask if I could order a replacement, the sent it to me for free.

I love mine
We love ours. My 6 month old sits in my lap and we walk the dog using it it’s very fast tooo and it’s a comfortable seat. With her and I we ride it on and off all day long and the charge last all day on and off so we would charge overnight take her out when she wakes and then go for a few hours non stop come back charge go again and repeat. It really doesn’t take long to charge. If it dies it has two Manuel switches that if you use it and push the chair backwards it will charge it up to push it to keep going. Mindful once it gets to the last yellow you have not a lot of time cause once it hits red it’ll die a few seconds later.

I especially love the toggle switch controller. This chair has a speed adjustment, and is really fast. Great for outdoors, but has a tight radius to turning into bedroom doors inside your home. Just takes some getting used to the controller. I would buy this again.

MUCHAS GRACIAS. We had one that stopped working. Finally got it to work but had already ordered a second one as we desperately needed it to transport my sister. Second one arrived. No longer needed. Mixed Opinion
The chair has a very sturdy frame but bolts and parts kept falling off. It only moved on extremely hard and smooth surfaces. It was advertised as 40 lbs yet weighs 48 lbs. Folds and unfolds easily. Also portrayed as all terrain but is not.

Very happy with this chair.
This chair is light weight and we can load into car quite easily. It is one of the few that will drive through all the doorways in our house easily … this makes it easy to use in the bathroom as well.Five stars for service / warranty. After 6 months we had an issue with the joystick controller. We contacted customer service and they promptly sent a new joystick controller unit. They were easy to deal with and took care of the issue and sent the part right away and responded to all questions.Highly recommended !!

Pass…
I have been using this chair for a few weeks now and you can expect it to basically disintegrate around you. Nuts and bolts just falling off – yep. Loose joints that will not tighten no matter how many times you turn the screw. Just this morning the joystick control bar just fell off…I have ordered a different model, slightly more expensive. Hope that does the trick.

Great Customer Service ! Rubicon Model 3
Excellent design, folds and fits in most trunks. Customer service is an answering machine and website with a commitment to get back to you within 24 hours, which they lived up to. 5 speeds, forward and reverse, plenty fast enough on 2 or 3. Plenty of power for ramps and carpets. Battery last more than a day in getting around the house.Downside, we upgraded the seat cushion to a gel one, added support under the cushion. Upgraded the rear tipover wheels to true rollerblade wheels, making it much easier to wheel around when folded. It had a bad controller which made us think it had a bad battery, which promptly replaced. The supplied suspension springs are way too stiff to be functional for a 150 lb rider. Highly recommend buying a 2nd battery($349) so you can just swap it out, rather than waiting for it to charge up.I would highly recommend this Rubicon Model 3 powerchair to a friend in need of one.

Very easy to fold and put in a trunk of a car.
When I received it yesterday just toke it out of the box and was able to use. After 30 minutes the batterie was dead. Now I charged and will see how long I can use the chair. The chair is very comfortable in spite I am 190 pounds. One bad thing is in spite I tighten all the nuts and screws twice I lost my tipper wheels and found them with nuts and bold. Now I lost again my tipper wheels and nuts and bold but was lucky to find the wheels but don’t know what bold and nuts I need. I hope the vendor will send me a new set and I can go out and buy extra when I loose them . Dear vendor I hope you can send me a replacement nuts and bold.

For my wife, she has found it comfortable and easy to operate., I find it well made, fairly light weight considering the beefy construction, and large 2 motors one on each wheel. I did find like others slightly loose screws on the tip wheels but every place else I checked they were very tight. It travels well on our carpet area’s and everywhere else. She originally wanted one she had a brochure for that was half the weight but triple the price, she’s happy we got this one instead.

I can lift into back of our SUV
Brought in 1/24 have done 2 major trips including a Curise with plane ride. Paced with luggage not a problem. Would recommend a travel cover to protect some exposed wires. I didn’t see one they offered so got a generic which worked with modifications. Gives wife complete independence. Brakes auto lock for transfers. Light enough for me to handle with battery installed. So far battery is great about a 4 hour life at normal speed to get out of green dots. Could push if it ran out but not my intention. Nice under seat carry bag for charger and iPad. Looks nice doesn’t have those huge wheels, yet does flat grass ok. I did replace rear tip over wheels with dual heavy wheels with bearings and heavy axel. About $10 . Much better for us then others costing x3 more. Highly recommend. She has been riding around Baltimore inner harbor with no issues.

The battery is junk.
The battery shorted out less than 5 months of use. Then I had to play the third party seller game with Amazon. Ended up paying for a new battery while I wait to ship back the old one and wait on their techs to check the battery then they may or may not replace it. After the run around from the seller. Don’t buy it.

I bought this for a disabled friend. In the meantime, I had foot surgery and am using it myself Another friend put it in car and said it was not heavy at all. It’s perfect. Manageable chair even – if disabled.
Very easy to operate. Folds easily. Suitable for me for the summer; however, I will probably have to return it as it does not operate in the rain – and I live in a rainy part of the world (Portland, OR) Also, packing recycled and could not be used to return – no provision for this error. Seems unreasonable. Have returned in excellent packing (UPS) and expect a refund.

This is an excellent wheelchair. Strong, durable, portable, lightweight, quiet, and adjustable. The seat padding is removable and washable. Not as easy to pull as shown in photo
The media could not be loaded.
This poor lightweight wheelchair supposedly is not as easy to maneuver as they lead you to believe there is actually no handle to hold onto to pull this wheelchair. You have to hold your hand over to large bars in order to pull it, and then it only pulls onto very tiny wheels, making it very difficult. The seller said he would solve my problem, but he did not solve my problem on handling this wheelchair and ended up telling me that it’s been two months since I purchased it and he was not willing to give me a refund or even a different chair they don’t have one.
