    High quality, great value, light weight, sturdy, does what it claims

    We needed a small, light, folding electric wheelchair for my wife. It needed to be light enough for me to lift in and out of the car and it needed to fold like a small airline bag to fit in the back of her Kia Soul. This wheelchair is surprisingly sturdy and checks all of the needed boxes for us. It comes fully assembled (except for the small anti-tip wheels that just plug in), it came fully charged and it worked right out of the box.Pros:Very sturdy and well made.Each arm can fold back out of the way.The controls are simple and easy to work.The foot rest is clever and sturdy.The power and speed are just what is needed. It is quiet but not silent.If you turn off the controller it can be pushed manually when needed.Cons:It does not move or steer well on carpet.The rear wheels provide power and the front ones swivel freely so it can be inaccurate to steer, especially on rough surfaces.It has no cup holder or basket but there is a small pouch behind the seat.There is no key to prevent it from being taken.The “horn” might scare a housefly but not much else.It was difficult to move and steer when we set it up in the house on the carpet. However, when we tried it at stores it worked very well. My wife had a great time shopping in it. It moved and steered well and it had no trouble with inclines; we drove it from the car into a mall, we went from one end to the other end and back and then drove it back to the car. Only one battery light went off through all of that and we still have not needed to charge it.Overall I’m very pleased with this purchase.

    Worth the money !!

    The product arrived early than first expected and was super easy to unpack. Although no instructions were included none were needed and was soon up and ready to use. Mom is 5’1” tall and elderly so it was a perfect fit for her. She does have a few memory problems but with a couple of days practice she is getting the hang of how it operates. She will soon be ready to tackle a store !! Mom loves it !! I like how compact and easy it is to use. Battery slides in and out from under the seat with touch of a button. The weight is about 30 lbs or so. It does takes some lift power but eliminates the need for an add on to your vehicle. We opted for this choice because it will eliminate the need for more than one piece of equipment sitting around. We live in a ground floor small apartment and once you get past the door jam she can also use it inside. So happy with her purchase!!

    Manual brakes not safe without caregiver

    The brakes are manual on the back wheels where rider can’t reach to set and release brake. So one needs a caregiver to bend over to set and release brake. But better not be on a slope or you may go for a wild ride.A better system is one with an electro-magnetic brake. Once brake is set you turn power on and you can drive. Let your hand off joystick it automatically stops. Only time brakes would be turned off is when caregiver needs to push the chair. Electro-magnetic braking system is far superior to the mechanical type like this chair has.

    I am impressed!

    Ordered this Wheelchair on Wednesday June 26, the delivery date was listed as July 8. I paid for express delivery to get it on July 5th. Less than an hour after I placed theorder I got an email asking for additional info. In my response I mentioned that I wastaking my Mom to visit my sister, and hoped the wheelchair would get here in time.Well less than an hour later I got a second email with a tracking number! Seller literally immediately packed it up labeled it and got it to the shipper in less than hour! I got it 2 days later. I am so impressed with this seller. As for the wheelchair itself, it works as expected, hardly no assembly, easy to operate. It’s not very heavy, and folds up small enough to fit in a car trunk or back seat. Yes I am impressed!

    Well made but difficult for elderly to understand

    Chair is well-made but small. Inside the box is a copy machine instruction sheet of do and don’t instructions. An elderly patient who has been in wheelchairs for years cannot change her thinking for operating changes. This is a small chair and is pperfect for younger smaller persons. I will be donating to a medical facility that needs it.

    1/3 the cost of a mobility store

    I shopped for one of these at mobility stores and they were priced at $3000 or more. So, on to Amazon, where I always go for a nicer one at 1/3 the cost. On my first day shopping, Several people commented how sweet this chair is and asked where I got it. It has a zero turning radius, silent, and easy to fold and unfold. The battery is in a box with a handle, secure with a push button to release it from its enclosure under the seat. Don’t hesitate to buy this one!

    Exactly what I was looking for

    The wheelchair is very light and easy to fold to put into a car. It looks well, supports a good posture, and is easy to operate. It is possible to order a lighter battery at an extra cost. Very importantly, the seller is very responsive and immediately addresses your concerns. Very satisfied.
